Riley Cooper returns, practices

wide receiver Riley Cooper, who returned to practice on Tuesday after a brief stint away from the team, said that he's spoken with each of his teammates individually since a video capturing him using a derogatory racial remark went viral, asking them not to forgive him for his actions, but to judge him by his future.

"I talked to everyone individually," he said following the team's joint practice with the New England Patriots. "I told them, 'I don't want you to forgive me, because that puts the burden on you. I want it all on me.' I told them that and I told them I apologize. They could tell it was from the heart, they know I'm not that kind of person. It feels good to have support from the guys."

He added that he felt that 100 percent of his teammates were in support of him, something he sensed on the field in his return.

"It felt good to be out there with the guys and catching and running and making some plays and them coming up to you, supporting you, high-fiving you, chest-bumping you like Jason Avant did in the end zone when I had that TD," Cooper said. "It just felt good to be back out here with the guys."

The Eagles had excused Cooper on Friday and sent him for sensitivity training after video of his remark, made at a Kenny Chesney concert in June, surfaced last week.

His goal now is to earn the respect back from his teammates that he may have lost since the video surfaced. Running back LeSean McCoy recently said that he had lost respect for Cooper after the remarks.

"Absolutely, just by my actions," Cooper said of gaining respect back. "Don't judge me for the past, more so the future and just watch my daily moves and what I'm doing."

Fellow wide receiver Avant, among the team leaders spotlighted by coach Chip Kelly, said that the Eagles are over the situation as a team.

"I think you guys [the media] need the healing process more than the team," Avant said. "You guys got to cover it, so you keeping going, making the story go, but as far as our team, I think guys are definitely over it and we talked, we've had dialogue, we've accepted his apology. The only thing he can do is apologize. What else can he do? When a situation happens like that, there's not too many things you can do but apologize and be sincere about it. Now you guys have to get over it."

Asked whether or not a situation could arise where the team would part ways with Cooper due to the fallout from the situation, Kelly squashed the notion.

"I don't see that happening," he said. "After talking to our players, I think our players really understand the situation ... I don't envision that happening."

Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said in a statement Tuesday that Cooper's slur was "totally unacceptable" but that the receiver was working to regain trust with the team and community. Cooper was fined by the Eagles after his slur became known last week.

"His words may have been directed at one person but they hurt everyone. Riley has apologized to the team and community and has made a personal commitment to work hard to try and gain their trust and earn his position on the team," Lurie said in the statement.

Cooper, a fifth-round pick of the team in 2010, remains hopeful that he has a future on the field in Philadelphia.

"I sure do hope, and I'm going to try each and every day to prove that and play as hard as I can and play my game," he said. "I want to stay here."

Regardless of his future with the Eagles, Cooper also understands that this is an incident that he's going to have to live with for the rest of his life.

"It's going to be tough, no doubt about it," he said. "I'm going to live with this every day for the rest of my life. It's one of those things, you can't let it affect your play on the field, and that's what I'm going to strive to do."

Kelly said that the decision for Cooper to return was a mutual one, while Cooper noted that he'll continue to seek guidance on the issue as needed going forward.

"I talked to Chip last night and this morning, and he asked, he said, 'How do you feel? Are you ready to come back?' and I said absolutely," Cooper said. "I love being out here on the field and I love being out there with my guys."

The training, Cooper said, helped him understand the severity of his remarks.

"We just talked about the situation and how big this is," he said of the training. "I realize that, and I realize how many people I've hurt, how many families I've hurt, how many young kids I've hurt, and that's what we talked about, the severity of it. I realize that and I take full responsibility for it."

While Cooper said that all of the players on the field were "great" toward him on Tuesday, he understands that he'll likely continue to hear about this situation from opponents and other players in the future.

"I know people are going to say stuff, but people have always said stuff," he said. "You have to be the bigger man and have to have thick skin, especially in this situation."

The Eagles may have to lean on Cooper more on the field in light on Tuesday's injury toArrelious Benn.

Benn, acquired by the Eagles in a trade with Tampa Bay, suffered a torn ACL in his left knee during practice. The team also released wide receiver Dave Ball.

Official: 3 winning tickets for $448M Powerball jackpot

With almost $450 million on the line, the nearly nationwide lottery Powerball game picked a set of winning numbers Wednesday: 05, 25, 30, 58, 59 and Powerball 32.

And three tickets — one sold in Minnesota and two in New Jersey — matched Wednesday's winning numbers, Sue Dooley, senior drawing manager production coordinator for the Multi-State Lottery Association, said late Wednesday night. She said it wasn't yet clear exactly where the tickets had been sold or who the winners were.

Lottery officials estimated the jackpot at $448 million. The allure of all that money had players in a buying frenzy Wednesday, further confirming a trend that lottery officials say has become the big ticket norm: Fatigued Powerball players, increasingly blasé about smaller jackpots, often don't get into the game until the jackpot offers big bucks.

Meghan Graham, a convenience store worker from Brookline, Mass., has purchased nearly a dozen Powerball tickets in recent months thanks to the huge jackpots, and the third-largest-ever pot was enough reason to buy again.

"The more it keeps increasing, that means nobody is winning ... a lot of people are gonna keep buying tickets and tickets and tickets and you never know, you just might get lucky if you pick the right numbers," she said.

A recent game change intended to build excitement about the lottery increased the frequency of huge jackpots, and Wednesday's jackpot drawing comes only a few months after the biggest Powerball jackpot in history — a $590 million pot won in Florida.

With a majority of the top 10 Powerball jackpots being reached in the past five years, lottery officials acknowledge smaller jackpots don't create the buzz they once did.

"We certainly do see what we call jackpot fatigue," said Chuck Strutt, executive director of the Multi-State Lottery Association. "I've been around a long time, and remember when a $10 million jackpot in Illinois brought long lines and people from surrounding states to play that game."

Tom Romero, CEO of the New Mexico Lottery and chairman of the Powerball Group, agreed.

"Many years ago, $100 million was really exciting and people would immediately buy more, occasional players would start buying," he said. "Then the threshold was $200 million. Now, we see here in New Mexico, we're approaching the $300 million mark."

The revamp of Powerball in January 2012 changed the price of a ticket from $1 to $2, a move that upped the chances of the game reaching a major jackpot. There was a loss in the number of players, but the new game — which also created more chances to win smaller, $1 million and $2 million prizes — has brought in 52% more in sales, Strutt said. Sales were $5.9 billion in the fiscal year that ended in June.

Well...what a stupid thing...The owner of lugosi Miguel Lugosi Weiss "mike" *aka manny" has owned 15 Alfa romeo's rebuilding several engines and machining the blocks himself, Ferrari Experience and ownership as well., SoloII autocross early 90's...SCCA briefly early 90's. Alfa owners club on and on...yet this 17 year old punk gets away with writing "nobody working there has any auto enthusiast attributes"...yelp gladly posts his post...

Karma is great and this is why we're in business despite this Fascist Yelp bullshit...Thousands of good people have come, gotten hooked up in a big way, treated well and honestly and keep coming back meanwhile sometime we'll get the one or two people who come while we're not here and run into one or two others waiting outside and later we hear ........"yeah man..i came and you weren't here and there was other people outside who also haven't gotten their parts.." our response is simple at 8 sale on average per day...and 98% of our sales getting their parts same day or next naturally there's going to be occasional back orders or 4 to 10 working day waits....so if they run into a total of 5 people outside "waiting for parts" and they think this is a terrible thing...this only means that 50 more got their parts and this is why there isn't 50 people outside...why would they come if they already got their parts..ofcourse if their outside and waiting it's because they're still waiting...unless we make 2 sales per week and than there's 4 people outside ok we have a problem, but seriously...Do the math..

stroke/bore torque rev to be or not to be.....

in the history of internal combustion mankind has tried virtually every configuration possible..from whopping 16liter Fiat Airplane motors in the 20's to 1.5liter turbo charged Formula 1 cars that do 200mph and more recently the introduction of the W configuration, basically a V within a V yes 4 planes acting on ONE crank....

Generally speaking if the BORE of the Cylinder..say 4" in diametor is equal to distance between TDC and BDC or stroke..it's called a "square" engine...if the BORE is Greater than the Stroke it's called Over Square, ..most cars these days are UNDER square..small bore longer stroke..this means more torque and less RPMs (generally speaking)...natrually there's an exception to every rule.......

Weight is probably the biggest factor or contributing variable in terms of determining if a car is "fast". Everything else being equal, weight is basically the deciding factor between a winning and losing Makina..
"machine" or "car" in English >side note "machina, pronounced Makina, means CAR in italian" and speaking of italians, The italian government taxes the cars on stroke so they keep the strokes short, and bores bigger thus...the result is a relatively LOW torque engine, oversquare, that loves to rev out, couple that with a proper tranny and you've got a recipe for an exiciting driving experience...this is the secret to the Alfa Romeo's and Ferrari's of the 50, 60's 70's, well to current..Germans love torque..they love straight 4s or 6's with a health stroke and smaller bore...they give up some high end revs for pouncing on competitors with the musclular torquey engines and like the italians make up for their short coming with gearing...BMW/Mercedes are famous for their low reving hi torque muscle cars....Audi is the only car out of Germany that I'm aware of that prefers the high reving smaller engines, a la GTI, A4, S4, RS4 etc...Porsche with their flat 4 and dry sump is even more exotic as they've figure out how to overcome gravity...

Lugosi Autosport always appreciates feedback from our users. Here's what one of our happy users, who has an LA1 and older 2A0 unit, says about a new Autronic ECU he recently purchased:

I've been a long time very satisfied user of your products. The PnP (Autronic ECU) version (which is based on their SMC ecu's) also is capable of 0-5V input. So, in this case, no need for the resistor tricks.

Also, look here for the Tech Edge utility to change the wideband output: wbUTIL. It may be necessary if you have an ECU that covers the voltage range 0 to 5 Volts for other than our default setting of AFR = 9 to 19 (for stoich = 14.7). Also note that out newer version 3 controllers have a maximum WBlin of up to 8.192 Volts.

Autronic Meter - Claims by a Lugosi

Many people ask us if our controllers work with Autronic ECUs, and in particular if the Autotune function can be made to work. The simple answer is yes (see below) but certain things should be done to maximise accuracy. But first, lets dispell some myths that seem to have accumulated. There are two Autronic Lambda meters, and they are described on the Lugosi Website In the following extracts, we have added the blue italics. A Model: Uses a Bosch four wire broad band sensor (LSM-11) and has a air fuel ratio range of 9.0:1 to 36.0:1. Update speed of readings is 0.5 of a second. B Model: Will use the Bosch sensor or a (NTK) UEGO 6 wire high speed sensor (5 wire sensor + calibration resistor wire) The high speed sensor will update every 0.10 of a second. They also claim, of the UEGO sensor, that "it is also more accurate than the Bosch sensor". The LSM-11 is not a wideband sensor, but a narrowband (NB) sensor with tighter tolerances than a normal NB sensor. Of course the NTK UEGO will be more accurate. The Bosch LSU 5-wire (pump cell) sensor will also be more accurate than the Bosch LSM-11. Perhaps Autronic's Bosch 4-wire and NTK UEGO sensor comparison is why people familiar with Autronic think the Bosch LSU is less accurate than the NTK UEGO. They are simply confusing the Bosch LSM-11 with the Bosch LSU sensors. The fact is, comparing 5-wire sensors, the Bosch LSU is as good or better than the NTK UEGO. As the Bosch LSU is usually considerably cheaper than the NTK UEGO, the comparison is even more favourable towards the Bosch LSU. Because of the price difference - most people, it seems, buy the expensive Autronic Lambda meter but then use the narrowband LSM-11 sensor. This is total craziness! An expensive meter and an under performing 4-wire narrowband sensor. Issues in Using the 1 Volt Autronic Input OK, you have a Tech Edge wideband controller with a differential 0-5 Volt output(*1). How best to connect it to your Autronic ECU to use their Autotune function? There are some issues to address, and we have solutions too: Autronic ECUs use a 0 to 1 volt input signal. Tech Edge controllers provide a 0 to 5 Volt signal. Although you can re-program the controller output to 0-1 Volt, it's better to divide 0-5 Volts down to 0-1 Volts. This improves the dynamic range by a factor of 5 and gives more precise, smaller steps. The Autronic default 10 to 30 AFR range (assuming AFR(stoich) = 14.7) means just a quarter of this range, from AFR = 10 to 15, is in the effective tuning range. If we limit the AFR from 10 to 20, half the default, this gives us twice the dynamic range. This and the previous item gives us 10 times the dynamic range of a simplistic approach. The output setup is shown in the image at right - note the lower line sloping upwards; the leftmost darker section is between 0 and 0.5 Volts, but you can see that over the 10 to 30 AFR range the output (grey line) would go between 0 and 1 Volt. Electrical Noise is a fact of life in automotive applications. Lambda sensor controllers precisely heat the sensor to high temperature using large currents switched electronically. This can introduce noise in the ground return of the controller itself. Most Tech Edge controllers have a WBlin+/- output (we call it a differential output) feature that's designed to allow for small varying differences in ground voltages between the controller and the ECU. Enabling this feature may require changing/removing a jumper inside the case of your controller and then ensuring you connect both the WBlin+ and the WBlin- connections to the ECU. 0→5 Volt & 10→20 AFR ⇒ 10:1 Resistive Divider The best way to connect your Tech Edge unit to an Autronic ECU is with a 10:1 resistive divider. We suggest you use 1% resistors of value 2k and 18k wired as shown at right. Note that there are 4 connection points: specially programmed 0-5 Volts WBlin+ output from the Tech Edge wideband controller. Ground reference WBlin- input to counteract ground noise and voltage offsets. Divided Aut-in input to Autronic ECU - connect to 1 Volt oxygen sensor input. The Autronic ground point Aut-Gnd - either the oxygen sensor input GND point or the ECU's analogue GND. As well as the connection points two other things must be done to the Tech Edge controller Reprogram the WBlin output to go from and AFR of 10 to 20. note: range is not from 10 to 30.. The default range for Tech Edge units is from 9 to 19, so forgetting to reprogram means the voltage will be close, but wrong everywhere! Remove the WBlin-GND jumper - refer to the documentation for your controller, and to here for an explanation of why you must do this. Buy the pre-made 5 Volt to 1 Volt Adaptor Although it's easy to make your own, we offer this pre-made adapter. It has over 30cm (12") of cwire between the wideband unit and the Autronic unit. There are four connection points just like the schematic shown above, and the image at right, the two BLACK wires are GND, the GREEN wire comes from the 0-5 Volt wideband output, and the ORANGE wire goes to the Autronic 1 Volt input. The shipped adapter comes covered in heat-shrink, so nothing shorts out. lugosi can provide this custom harness for you for a small fee of 50 dollars *mostlylabor..if you cannot follow the diagram just call us at 858.560.5258 we'll walk you through it or lugosi autosport warning you could burn out your ECU if not done correctly we do not and cannot warranty our harrnesses unless we do the ENTIRE installation  if done wrong, our PERFECT harnesses could still cause damange..Lugosi Autosport warning do not attempt to install autotune or autronic unless you know what the heck you are doing!!!

Just as we see in the auto world, complete homonogization  of new car production from the world market of "parts", manufactures are making less and less of their parts..sure they design a body, stamp out the chassis and body.. but engines, transmissions, and virtually all ancillary parts are out sourced..

One extreme example and sad on a personal level is Alfa Romeo completely  selling out along with SAAB and Lancia Italy..Lugosi Autosport has not worked on many SAABs or Lancia, to do our own Verification however it's common knowledge that all three sell outs used the same chassis, procured again on the world market...not sure how this works,,engineering input from all companys?  given to a 4th firm in the chassis design busines?..bottom line is that (and i can't blame tthem) when a car company can't afford it's own unique, proprietary chassis but to save it's own fiscal neck, sells out and shares DNA with other makes and not one, but two..folks we're talking a car Threesome here..I don't know how to spell manajatwa? hehe..indeed. (i just hope alfa got to be the turkey baster and not the turkey...if you know what i mean..lol.

Its amazing how anybody with a pulse and an ax to grind can literally write ANYTHING they wish regardless of the consequences to the business, luckily we know thousands of clients who know and support us and or don't believe everything they read, Take for example three people MARK VALADE, BenJamin, and JESSE, IN Short ORDER these guys wanted paint for their vehicles,

Mark calls and lies and asks, "can i take advantage of the 750 flat rate paint job which includes dings and dents, i know what it's like to not have a whole lot of money for a project so now that we're in a strong position to help San Diegans out we don't mind earning our money the old fashioned way, Earning it,,,

My truck is fine , no major damage, just want you to remove the stuff to make it look good and take your time, it's a weekend desert truck and I only take it out in the summer........... exactly ONE week later he calls and say's, I read some reviews and i'd lke to know if my truck will be ready SAT, just barely 4 or 5 working days so far,,,,we said "no" you told us to take our time and the truck was fine and it's' far from fine it's got a huge compound crunch in the front and that's going to cost us extra with our shop plus we now lost our turn because you said take your time, so please bare with us,,,,,,,,,,,,,

He just at this point lost all sense of decency, just calling all day, being a real pain in the ass, finally at the end of week 3, he calls and says, i've reported my truck stolen, and you need to tell me where it is right now, i was in complete shock that he preferred to file a false police report to punish us for "taking too long" when it was his idea plus a crashed corner on his truck. So I called him and said hey, what is going on, why would you do such a thing, it's just wrong, he replied "i don't care i want my car back and you tell me where it's at and i'll leave you alone and you'll nevr hear of me again, i thought it was a great idea, but i had spent 100 bucks on towing this truck down to my painters shop, so i said, OK ill tell you where the car is and I'll return your deposit gladly provided you pay me for the Tow bill which i paid for, He agreed, came over to the shop we gave him 300 dollars and kept 100 for towing he was ok with it, shook our hand, signed an agreement stating that we were off the hook and he held no resentment or prejudice and he signed, collected his 300 dollars and life is good.....

So here's the kicker, this bastard with NO WORD of HONOR, Goes down to my painter, strikes a new deal with him , essentially cutting me out of the deal, still left his car there for another week or two, and than he has the nerve to go to rip off report and states that we lied to him for 30 days, simply not true. He lied to us about taking our time, and that his truck was dent and crash free, than he writes that we extorted 100 bucks from him just to tell him where his truck was, when all we wanted was to recoup our towing money, it's not our truck we do not have any obligation to pay for other peoples towing bills, finally he stated that we left his car abandoned at the mexican border, folks my painter, and the shop he ended up using happens to be in otay mesa, between CROWERCAMS and AM PM mini Market, but when he describes it, it's oh so dirty mexico, near the mexicans, Marc you are a little harry man, You have NO word, NO honor and where I come from pal *by the border* we play smear the queer with people like you,,,punk.

It really is fascinating how a few bad and very inconsiderate people can do or attempt to do so much
damage online with just a couple of well placed negative posts.....truly incredible on many levels including complete lack of concern or oversight by the "host" companies who allow anyone with a pulse a free platform REGARDLESS of MOTIVE...

lugosi autosport has been in the same exact location for over 24 years now...yes 24 years.....in all fairness although we haven't been in the parts and accessories and repair business for the entire 24 years, we have been tearing down engines and repairing, modifying and fabricating custom parts for OVER 24 years, and under our roof just between TWO main Techs we over 40 years of hands on Experience at Master bmw Factory Level as well as General, Exotic *ferrari shop* and other related experience specifically in a machine shop environment..Porting Polishing and CNC milling etc...

We Average over 10 Sales Per Day, Some small, Some medium, Some Large, Some VERY LARGE..We'll sell anywhere from 5 bucks for a sticker or Lanyard all the way to a full BMW M5 Conversion for example for over 2 thousand Dollars or Engine Swaps with Turbo's , again over 3000 dollars...

Last time we checked there was probably 10 independent either complaints or reviews....We know for a fact that at least ONE is a competitor because he wrote the review exactly two years after the last time he set foot in our shop and in the review he claims that he came over to "check out the shop, a couple weeks ago" yet he describes the shop the way it was two years ago? and the vocabulary he uses is unique to him, he's the only one who speaks like that that I've ever met...and lastly in the review he closes by saying that we didn't have anything in stock, so he went to *enter name of his shop here* and spent 799 dollars etc...

Another one out of the 9 or so is GUS, Gus is an EX employee who was a client at first and Actually Gave us 5 Stars....long story short AFTER we fire him he reduced it to 1 star...Yelp doesn't give a crap who writes the reviews, Anyone Can literally write one review per day from different computers, yelp wouldn't
care... Another Review is a Lady who called me a Racist, when she's the one who suggested that i would treat her differen't if she wasn't black....I said NO I treat all dumb people the same...She ordered a 2010 bumper for her 2004 car *car wasn't there when she ordered the bumper* she warned us, FREE BUMPER or I'll give you a bad YELP.... Another Lady also accusing us of being Racist she came to us for brakes
couldn't afford rotors, couldn't afford to turn the rotors, she demanded we install pads, just pads on her old scored rotors, against our advise she forced us..one year later she approached us and demanded NEW ROTORS NEW PADS and FREE LABOR...we said NO WAY JOSE' and she gave us a bad review *she even made advances on me to try to get me to do free parts and labor, i rejected her and next thing you know I'm racist and I'm getting a bad review... Another Gentleman also accused me of being Racist against black people, This guy basically ordered TWO bmw bumpers, we got him the bumpers in about 6 working days, maybe 8 to be fair and honest...we called him and he said "ill be there later" about 2 weeks later he shows up when we have about 10 people shopping in our store..and starts getting Loud...to not lose 8 potential sales I looked him square in the eye and said, Look man...The bumpers are here you didn't have to wait two weeks to come... but I'll tell  you what come back monday and ill try to help you...
So he came monday and i basically said i was going to try to sell or return them for credit...so i gave him 50% of the refund and one week later he came in for the other 50%...HOWEVER he added, and I quote..."YOU STILL OWE ME 90 Dollars" I said "why?" and he said that he was expecting the money on that Monday so he bounced 3 checks and I was responsible for the bounced check fees, when i rejected the notion he left us multiple bad review's,

Finally My neighber Declared warr on me, called the city and firemarshal, the IRS, and the Franchise Tax Board of Equalization and he also called the Border Patrol or Customs and Said I was emplying illegal aliens. He's towed 3 of our cars, ours and clients for no reason other than he's in a bad mood...he's always cussing us out calling us Chinks, Wetbacks and Niggers, *his words and I swear on my Daughter I'm being honest and quoting accurately" He's vowed to "Take us down" and lately we've caught him following our clients and pulling them over and getting thier phone numbers....SEARCH google Video's "HOA president king of the planet" and you'll see how he got Very Very upset becuase  we put a sign on OUR door which we OWN stating that we'd be back in 15 minutes...it's against the condo rules, even though we Don't rent we own..
He's a stickler for the rules and is always givng everyone a hard time YET HE LIVES in the Complex Against Code City Code and the bi laws..
